This set of four wooden elephant blocks is used for printing a colourful elephant image on fabric. First one block is dipped into dye (or paint!) and printed on the material. Next a different block is inked with another colour and then superimposed on the pattern the first block has made. Next the third block is inked and superimposed ... and then the fourth ..., all with different colours to create a multi-coloured image.
