This Obese Persona Doll is one of our original Persona Dolls.
They are being used happily and successfully in all parts of the world. Over time however, we have tweaked and improved on the design of our Persona Dolls and have just taken delivery of a brand new range of sixteen Persona Dolls.In order to ‘clear the decks’ we are selling off this original stock item at just £39.00. Yes you read that right – Persona Dolls are being sold at just £39.00! I think we could safely call that a very special offer!
Clearly it is not a limitless stock item so it might be an idea to hurry while stocks last!
In line with the government initiative Change4Life our obese Persona Doll can be used by teachers, health professionals, social workers and others who want to help young children to understand the need for healthy eating and healthy life styles and to tackle childhood obesity. In line with the Change4Life initiative we have used the medical term obese; however when working with children we tend to use other words to describe her, for example chubby and over-weight. Clearly we all need to be sensitive in how we use these terms with children to ensure that they understand how words can be used to hurt and upset others. Our obese Persona Doll is probably the best Change4Life resource, helping young children to change their perceptions of junk food and help them to realise the benefits of healthy eating. Orders and purchases can be made online using a credit/debit card or by downloading an order form and sending it together with your cheque for the appropriate amount.
Local Authorities, state or independent schools, authority nurseries, public organisations or registered charities may also order goods online and pay for them through their standard payment method on receipt of our invoice.
