    13:05 - 14:00 Kite Workshop 3

    (Up to 60 children)

    14:10 - 15:05 Kite Workshop 4
    (Up to 60 children)

Flying paper kites in India continues to be a very popular activity for both children and adults alike. There is a National Kite Flying Holiday every year dedicated solely to this fun and exciting activity.

In these two workshops each child will learn how to make and fly their own kite. Both workshops begin with photographs on an OHP of Mr Abdul, a master kite maker from the Muslim community, making paper kites in his workshop in Jaipur and of children flying them.

We will need four to six adults (two must be teachers) to assist the children during these afternoon workshops.

    Additional Workshops (optional)

Many schools take up our offer of borrowing the resources used in the morning workshops to run two additional workshops in the afternoon. These workshops will be led by your staff who have learned the skills during the morning sessions.

13:05 - 14:05 Arts Workshop 5 (Up to 35 children led by school staff)

14:10 - 15:10 Arts Workshop 6 (Up to 35 children led by school staff)
