It is ever more important that we recognise
and celebrate the diversity of the world's cultures and faiths.
The Parrotfish Company supports this aim by importing authentic
artefacts which, with accompanying materials such as photo packs,
can be used in education. We also offer in-service
training to schools and Local Education Authorities. This
enables teachers to deal with the important issues of multiculturalism,
racism and bullying in their classrooms. Furthermore, we run workshops
for children. Our principle is to balance serious content
with fun, using interesting and lively approaches so that pupils
will enjoy and remember.
Curriculum Key
All our products are coded to suggest
the curriculum areas they could support. We have also
identified the resources that are appropriate for use
in Early Years setting (EY).
